If users submit poetry, we may store submission content and submission date.

When you like or save poems, we store a random eight-character recovery code, an unrelated random collection identifier, and separate lists of liked and favorited poem identifiers. We do not attach a name, email address, or account to the collection.

We do not sell personal identifying data.

2. Cookies & Advertising (Google AdSense)

We use cookies for:

• functionality (site features)
• analytics
• personalized advertising

The functional collection cookie lets this browser like poems and save favorites. The browser also keeps a local copy of the liked and favorited poem identifiers so pages can display your choices without requesting your collection on every visit. A private recovery link can reconnect or combine the collection on another browser or device.

Public like totals are shown from a daily site snapshot; individual collections remain private. We use Cloudflare Turnstile to protect changes from automated abuse. Turnstile processes browser and network signals needed to distinguish legitimate visitors from bots. Our application also uses a temporary, non-persistent fingerprint derived from the connection address to limit bursts of requests; this fingerprint is kept only in function memory and is not written to the likes and favorites database.

Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on prior visits to this or other websites.
